I never knew this existed. I wanted to get something to protect the brushes from staining the Prada box I have that contains my Prada makeup brushes. These are perfect. They protect the brushes and do not take up any additional room. I like that it doesn’t smother the brushes and allows the bristles to breathe. Highly recommend.

I use them to keep handbag tassels in place. They're fine for that purpose. Deducted one star because they do rip very easily and don't always return to their shape and fit snugly after I apply them.

Regardless of whether you store your brushes in a ziplock bag, makeup bag, toiletries bag with other products, brush holder…when you travel, you need this. This keeps your brushes from contaminating your other brushes with different products or colors unless you’re cleaning your brushes after every use. I just got a travel bag for brushes and I’ll still be using this on my brushes before packing them into the travel bag slots for brushes. This way when the bag is closed, my brown eye shadow brushes won’t directly touch my concealer brush or my mattifying powder brush. Also it helps to keep your brushes from deforming in your bag by getting the bristles caught in different directions. Get these!! And just dispose after every use or trip because these do get dirty.

I didn’t know what I was missing before I got these! They are great for keeping brushes in tact when you’re traveling or storing them at home. The bristles are held together very nicely and the covers are so easy to just slip on.

Once they are stretched out they dont shrink back down even with a help from hot water

Quality? Check.• Super durable. Makeup brush diameters are usually around 1cm - 3cm, and I could stretch these out to 12cm without breakage. **Note: the sleeves were kind of loose on my 1cm brushes. If you have a lot of small brushes, I would recommend looking for a smaller sleeve**• They looked clean & didn't have any residue, but I washed them just in case. These brushes go near the eyes, nose, and mouth, and whatever is on those sleeves will transfer to the brush.Value? These work better than the very expensive brand. I like these because they expand to fit different brush sizes. The picture shows the fit of different brush sizes using one size brush guard. The only drawback the brush guard is 4.5 inches and does not fit both ends of double sided brushes, however you can cut these for smaller size to use on the other end. It’s best to use one layer and not overlap the brush guards.

Perfect for keeping my brushes in shape! An added bonus -- it came with three slightly larger brush guards in black.Note: In the picture I cut these guards in half. Also my eyeshadow brush (Hakuhodo J5523 sized) is the smallest these guards will work with shaping the bristles. Any smaller than that, the bristles don't even touch the mesh cover.

They did not work for my smaller brushes but are great for medium to large sizes.

These are all excellent brushes. They make foundation, blush, eyeshadow and everything else easier to apply, and it looks nicer, too. The bristles and handles are both well made. My other brushes were more than 10 years old, so it was time for a new set. I'm very happy I bought these. They are a good investment.

These brushes came quickly and were packaged well. I purchased these for my watercolor brushes and find them to be easy to put onto the brushes. They definitely protect them by keeping the bristles from splaying out and becoming damaged. Because they are expandable they fit all the brush sizes I have including my 2" brush. They are brilliant for this use! I will of course use some of them for my cosmetic brushes as well when traveling but that's just a bonus for me. There were more than enough in the package for me to share with an art class friend.

traveling with makeup brushes has always been messy & difficult. The plastic covers that come with better brushes are hard to clean , or they break. These are Perfect!! You can use them for one trip then toss them , because they're so cost effective

I purchased these covers to put on the tassels of my Dooney and Bourke handbags. They do a great job of protecting the tassels from bending and are easy to put on.

I never knew these were even a thing until I saw them on youtube. Now I can't imagine washing my natural and synthetic makeup brushes without them. They condense the fibers as they dry to restore the like-new shape of the brush. Flexible enough for eyeshadow brushes and also thick-handled foundation brushes, the sheaths return to their tube shape as soon as you remove them, allowing for many uses each. I actually cut some of these in half since my smaller brushes don't need the full sheath. You only need the sheath over the ferrule and the fibers. If you cut some of these in half, you have many more individual pieces-- enough to share with someone who will appreciate the them. Highly recommend.

I’m glad I got these because now I can wash them, slip these on, and dry the brushes upside down so the water will drain out without damaging the bristles.

Works on all my brushes but one which it makes my brush fray and it worry me I cause I have the jeffree star morphe brushes and since it's hard to get then now I need to take super good care of them

These come in handy if you are a casual makeup wearer and don’t invest a ton in super sophisticated brush organization. Keeps the brush heads nice and tidy in your bag.
